Terms & Conditions

TRIBU – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Quotes, Rates & Price Variations

Our quotation system accesses both live pricing and static pricing, depending on the supplier.

Suppliers including but not limited to transportation providers, vessel owners, vendors, restaurants, and beach clubs may sell out, alter, or withdraw pricing, availability, or inclusions at any time.

If prices, rates, or inclusions vary from your initial quotation prior to booking confirmation and payment, you will be notified before any transaction is processed. If you choose not to proceed under the revised terms, you may cancel the booking request at no cost.

Once a booking has been confirmed and payment has been received, pricing is locked, and any new promotions, discounts, or special rates released afterward cannot be applied to existing bookings.

Prior to full and final payment, Tribu reserves the right to adjust prices due to exchange rate fluctuations, supplier price increases, tax changes, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond our control. Any such increase must be paid upon notification.

All quoted prices are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or varied without notice until confirmed.

2. Bookings, Deposits & Final Payments

All bookings traveling more than 30 days prior to the activity date require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking cost, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Deposits secure dates, vessels, vendors, staffing, and logistics and are non-refundable under all circumstances, except where Tribu cancels the activity.

The remaining balance is due on the agreed contractual date outlined in the invoice or booking confirmation.

3. Payment Methods

Tribu reserves the right to determine and limit accepted payment methods for both deposits and remaining balances.

Accepted payment methods may include credit card, ACH, Zelle, wire transfer, or other approved methods. Credit card availability is not guaranteed for remaining balances, regardless of the payment method used for the deposit.

Failure to complete payment using an approved payment method by the due date may result in late fees, cancellation of the booking, and forfeiture of the deposit.

Bookings are not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full.

4. Late Payments & Non-Payment

Any booking not paid in full by the contracted due date may be subject to:

• A late fee of $500
• Additional vendor-imposed fees
• Automatic cancellation after 48 hours without further notice

Deposits forfeited due to non-payment may, at Tribu’s discretion, be applied as a credit toward a future booking. Credits are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

5. Cancellation, Refund & Event Policies

By completing a booking with Explore Tribu or Tribu Project Events, guests acknowledge and agree to the following policies.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Such changes may occur due to weather conditions, operational requirements, or safety considerations.

These adjustments do not qualify for refunds.

Approved refunds may be subject to vendor and payment processor timelines and may take 30–90 days to process depending on the vendor.

Tickets are non-refundable once payment has been submitted.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Personal schedule changes

  • Illness or medical issues

  • Flight delays or cancellations

  • Travel disruptions

  • Dissatisfaction with the experience once the event has begun

2.2 Event Cancellations

Refunds will only be issued if Tribu cancels the event.

Events may be canceled due to:

In these cases, guests will receive either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A credit toward a future event

The form of compensation will be determined solely by Tribu.

2.3 Minimum Participation Requirement

Certain events require a minimum number of participants.

If the minimum participation threshold is not met, Tribu reserves the right to cancel the event.

Guests will receive either:

  • A credit, or

  • A full refund, at Tribu’s discretion.

3. Late Arrivals & No-Shows

Guests must arrive at the designated meeting location at the scheduled check-in time.

Guests who:

  • Arrive after departure

  • Miss the departure time

  • Fail to arrive for their booking

will be considered no-shows.

No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows.

4. Weather & Safety Conditions

The safety of guests and crew is our highest priority.

If weather or sea conditions are deemed unsafe by:

  • The vessel captain

  • The Coast Guard

  • Port authorities

  • Local maritime authorities

Explore Tribu reserves the right to cancel, delay, or modify the experience.

If the activity proceeds as scheduled, weather conditions alone do not qualify for refunds.

5. Commencement of Services

Once an experience, charter, or event has commenced, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

6. Agreement to Terms

By completing a booking and submitting payment, guests confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

7. Payment Authorization & Disputes

By submitting payment and accepting these Terms & Conditions, you authorize Tribu to process charges using the approved payment method.

Clients agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services rendered, forfeited deposits, cancellation outcomes, payment method changes, or non-refundable bookings. Any disputes initiated in violation of these terms may result in collection action and permanent refusal of service.
